Do you feel pain when lucid?

Hello, I have never had a lucid dream before but was wondering if you felt pain while Lucid.

I've felt pain while Lucid, I was bitten by a dog, I've never been bitten by a dog so my brain probably just created the feeling how I expected it to feel.

Did it feel exactly the same as in real life?

Yes you feel pain. But thats just another thing you can control. You can make the pain go away just by focusing on it. Honestly it just adds to your experience. Dont let this thought hold you back, there can be some sense of pain, but you cannot get injured.

You can feel pain. Like Raiden says, if you have good dream control you can choose not to feel it. I would not worry about pain. I rarely feel anything painful and it is less intense than in real life, just something to add plot to the story. Nothing about LDs makes it likely you will experience pain. You may have a fight scene in whicch you feel the blows land, but barely, or you may not feel them at all.
In one dream you may not be able to go in a burning building because the heat seems real, while if you have dream control, you may decide you can walk right through fire.
Peace Be With You. Oh, and sure, The Force too, why not.

I've never been bitten in real life, so my mind created the pain in how I expected it to feel.

But like other people have said, you can choose not to feel it.

Pain is a sense, touch. Sight, Hearing, Touch, Taste and Smell. You will feel all of these in the dream, but you can alter all of them too, you can feel pain, but can alter or stop it.

It's all in your mind, it's your choice if you feel it or not. I wouldn't try anything painful unless you're confident in your abilities though.

It depends. If your dream's really vivid, you might feel pain. But if it's quality is crappy, chances are, you'll feel numb. But just like what the others said, you can limit/block your sense of pain if you want to.

Like the others said, you can feel pain. In my experience though it was not NEARLY as bad as pain in real life. I have gotten shot several times through the chest and it felt like someone was pinching me softly xD.
