      Swallowing

Recently I've began researching and attempting lucid dream. I've been using the WILD technique for the past 3 days and it just hasn't been working so far. I feel sleep paralysis starting to kick in while laying there there's a slight tingling in my fingers and toes but everytime I hit this I swallow for some reason and find it hard to keep my eyes still and closed. Does swallowing or moving my eyes disrupt the SP or no?

I have to drink lots of water during the day, because of my kidney stones and the medications I take. So my mouth produces a lot of spit even as I am asleep. I've just learned to swallow normally and not freak out about it.

swallowing shoudn't be a problem for a SP,
when i had a SP i was swallowing most of the time, but i just entered a SP.
but thats for me, for you i don't really know, if u swallow and can't enter a SP go to http://www.dreamviews.com/f12/someth...ck-here-43435/
and read ''I can't stop swallowing! Everytime I try and focus on stopping myself from swallowing, I do it even more...it hurts and the saliva wells up in my throat! help!'' its should be usefull for you

You need to swallow! You still swallow in your sleep or you would wake up covered in drool. During WILD swallow often enough that very little saliva is involved. Do not wait until it becomes a big issue.

I'm just starting out with lucid dreaming as well, and a couple of people had suggested that I stay away from WILDing until I've had a few DILDs, or a few other methods. WILDing just isn't recommended for us newbies because we don't exactly know what to expect, yet. Hope that helps!

If you focus too much on the fact that you need to swallow, you'll take your mind off the WILD, making it counter-productive! Just swallow, and keep going. And the link above about everything an LDer should know is very useful as well, you should use that as a guide.
