Looking in mirror

Hello everyone! I recently had a lucid dream and I looked in the mirror. I heard your supposed to see something scary or disorted, well I looked in the mirror and saw nothing wrong. What happened?

Sometimes reality checks don't work. Try performing 2-3 in a row. What's more important is that you managed to reality check in a lucid dream. Whether you did this consciously or just out of good habit will determine what level of lucidity you were in.

It's not that it's supposed to be scary or distorted, but if it is, it's a sure sign you're dreaming. Same thing with looking down at your hands. But yes, practicing more than one RC is a good thing.

Actually I did more than just one RC, I looked at my hand, looked at clock (worked), and held my breath (worked)

When I look in the mirror I see a really good looking guy, and that's when I know I'm not dreaming.

you know why dream mirrors are creepy? Because its NOT a mirror, thats why. A mirror in waking life is this glass thing thats super reflective. The mirror in your dream isn't glass. Its a dream character staring right back at you. You might as well walk up to any dream character and think of it as your reflection - well at least some lucid dreamers already do

That's not unusual, nothing is wrong. I look fine, sometimes even better than normal in dream mirrors lol. A lot of times my hair is different, though. =D And then I wake up wanting to change my hair haha.

In my non-lucids, something similar happened for me, although I was more like "Damn, why did I cut it!". But, if I'm lucid, perhaps I would be tempted, to walk through it.

Yeah I've had non-lucids where I had gotten my hair cut really short and even though it looked good I was like "Nooo why did I do that? I really wanted to grow my hair out." XD I really want to try walking through a mirror too but I haven't been able to have a lucid dream in over a week. -__-

When i look in a mirror in my dream i see myself in real life, but with a red afro. Now thats all i see in mirrors every time i look into one in my dreams. Also, one of my friends tried to enter my dreams when he was lucid, and saw me with a red afro also. Weird huh?

I've looked in a mirror before. I saw my own reflection, nothing out of the ordinary. However, when I touched the mirror, my hand went through. Hahaha.

I also looked at a mirror. Nothing wrong with my reflection. However my goal was to go through the mirror so as soon as I touched the mirror I was instantly transported to this big open area AND I lost lucidity. Hopefully it won't happen again.
