      remembering my dreams

      i remember like most of my recent dreams even though i do not keep a journal or anything is this a good thing? to help in inducing lucid dreams?

      Yes, it is a good thing but you should still be keeping a dream journal. The main point of having a DJ isn't to increase your chance of becoming lucid, per se, but to ensure that you don't forget any lucids you may have had. They also help you pick out dream signs, recurring themes you can use to become lucid, so in a way they help you become lucid just not directly. Even if you have perfect recall, remembering over 10 dreams per night with outstanding detail, you'll still want to keep a DJ because it really is that important.

      it is good that you can remember your dreams without one but i would suggest you still use one just in case it will increase your chances of remembering so therefore will remember if u have a lucid dream or not
