      i dont have dream signs

I keep an avid dream journal record at least 3 dreams a night and they are all surprisingly vivid. The problem is I cant find a dream sign. I would even go as far as to saying I don't have one. All my dreams are completely random. Nothing normal that I'd be able to spot stuff out of the ordinary. Even as crazy as they are, and sometimes I can realize its a dream. I can't control my body, movements or thoughts. They jus go with the dream. I do rc's frequently and I meditate but none of that helps if I can't do rc's in the dream. Any suggestions?

I don't think you're giving it long enough to be honest. It takes some people quite sometime to find any sort of dream sign, and they aren't always obvious either. As for realizing it's a dream and not being in control this is commonly known as one of the lower levels of lucidity. Each level being the amount of control you have. I believe that the lowest is the one you described. I'm not sure how you can raise it without control of your actions, except for maybe telling yourself that it's a dream, and that you're in control?

Dream signs are not necessary. I only have one that sometimes works. Most of the time you just realize you are dreaming. Or something unusual triggers you to do an rc. Other dream signs I have noticed reoccur never have yet triggered lucidity.

Your dream sign can be something as general as water, old school, friends. But it's ok if you don't have one.

If you RC at random times during day, this behavior will transfer itself into your dreams and you will start to RC at random times in your dreams.

And yes, you can have lucid dream with no/low control. Happy dreams

Thanks guys. I'm glad to hear they aren't always necessary. I'm glad I can at least recognise I'm dreaming. I'll continue with the rc's and hopefully if I can do subconsciously ill realize I'm doing it conciencly
