Using Lucid Dreams as a Tool for Self Improvement

Hi, newly registered here, been lurking a while. I've been lucid dreaming for around a year maybe more, ranging from 1 a month to a few a week. I've had good dream call and vivid dreams since i was young.

I'd just like to discuss the idea of using your lucid dreams for self examination and to help improve your waking life. Do you guys think this is possible? As a person with an interest in psychedelics and how they can be used as tools I'd think lucid dreaming could be too. I mean we have this skill, why not put it to use rather than just having fun with it.

I for one used lucid dreaming as stress and anxiety control. Through years of practice and use I have managed to reduce my waking life stressors and anxiety 10 fold. In my opinion its better than any method a psychologist can give you or any medication.

I have heard of athletes practicing in LDs. And some people here on DV wanted to practice guitar playing. I guess you can practice anything, from public speaking to meditation.
