Can anyone here WILD when going to sleep? As in not having to wake up in the middle of the night, but instead doing it as soon as you go to bed? I've read that this is rare, but not impossible.
I'm asking this because I'm used to having DILDs and DEILDs all the time, and I had two lucids last night; one I know was a DEILD (the second one), but the first I'm not sure.
I went to sleep around 5a.m. after being awake for about 20 hours, so I was really freaking tired, but I don't know if I went into the dream immediately after I closed my eyes and relaxed, or if I lost consciousness and just went into a weird DILD later in the night. I can't say if there was a lapse in time/memory or not. I remember closing my eyes and then suddenly "waking up" in my room with my boyfriend sleeping next to me, and everything was dark, as it was in reality, and I just went, "Oh, it's a dream."
I did my usual RC and confirmed it. Then I proceeded to do stabilization, but I couldn't see shit, only faint smudges and shadows, so it was a little unstable. It felt like two, three minutes before I had a FA and knew something was wrong, so I did RC+stabilization again. Another dream. I was suddenly pulled from it when my boyfriend asked me something I can't remember right now IRL (could've still been a dream, but I don't think it was) so I spooned behind him and had my daily dose of DEILD.
Any insights on what the first LD might've been?
Also, does anyone here have lucids in complete darkness? I tried everything, but it remained dark as hell, even in that DEILD.
