Might have had a lucid last night, but can't fully remember.

So for the past few months I've really been slacking and paying little attention to my dreams and attempting to have my first lucid. I returned to writing in my DJ just yesterday morning and i think i had a lucid last night, but my recall isn't what it used to be and i can only remember a few snippets.

Also, this was my first dream of the night and i recalled 3 long dreams last night. Anyway, I was standing on top of a spillway in what seemed to be LA. The skies were clear, it was sunny and there was a slight breeze. I was standing next to a tagged up abandoned building looking towards the bridge spreading across the spillway in the distance. I can't remember how it happened exactly, but suddenly i knew it was a dream or at least thought i did. I did something to test my lucidity, but can't remember. All i can remember after that is feeling the weather and how amazing it felt and then flying towards the bridge and high above it, then waking up.
The only reason i'm questioning whether or not it was a true lucid is because i thought of the possibility that it could have been a normal dream about having a lucid dream because i can't remember all the specific feelings and sudden realization of actually being lucid. So did i have a lucid dream or have I dun goofed DV?

If you're unsure I'd count it as a non-lucid dream. Only you can know

You don't always get the "holly crap, I'm lucid" sensation. Especially, if you already had a few and are getting used to the feeling (if that's possible, heh).

But I would say it was a lucid, because you felt the weather and how amazing it felt. Sometimes I do forget how I got lucid, or didn't do RC, but I have never felt weather in non-lucid dream, nor I had any amazing feeling from a non-lucid.

But yes, only you can tell for sure.

This would have been my first lucid. Looking back at it now, the feeling i had in that dream was definitely lucidity, it's just i can't fully remember the experience. I won't count that as my first lucid, but i'm definitely pretty pumped about it

Why wouldn't you count it? It's you #1, man. Congrats.

I recommend, if I may, more awareness training so you are more "there" in a dream. And of course, dream recall by writing in DJ. Here is more about what to write in DJ and other stuff.

Get ready for your next one. Happy dreams
