      somethings wrong

So, im able to perform a wild within seconds of waking up at night. Is this normal? I await your response

Edit: my little sister who's eleven wants to do wilds. Is it safe for her?
EDIT II: yes I know the title is spelled wrong
Edit III: another thing, I mean staying still and within SECONDS I will go into a wild hypnagogic state, no moving. Im actually scared and happy.

Yes, that's perfectly normal. In fact, that's the best time to do WILD.

Yes.. it's safe for your sister to do WILDs. Why wouldn't it be?

And yes, your title is spelled wrong.

Yeah, I just wanted to know because shes a bit of a scaredy cat. As in, if she feels a hand squeezing hers (what happened to me once) or if she sees a monster when she opens her eyes, she'll be very scared. So would you recommend it for a scaredy cat? Also, thanks. When I do my first wild, im working on my Wonderland, a floating island.

Completely normal it's called Dream Exit Initiated Lucid Dream I do the same thing!

If someone is afraid to WILD and the experiences that may arise, then that fear will be the block that prevents the person from succeeding so make sure she deals with her fear first.
Ask her what she is afraid of and when she know, is there something to do about that fear?

Good luck to the both of you

She says she'll wait a few months because we'll work on that fear. I'll try to convince her its all in her mind, while she gets used to lucid dreaming. We just heard about lucid dreaming a month ago, so, she says she wants to be having lucid dreams at least five nights a week. So, hopefully this works for her. She says she'll get used to it sometime in a few months. I hope she does.

Just explain to her what's happening and that it can't hurt her. Every kid must learn to stop being afraid of shadows at some point.

I would recommend to your sister to focus on DILD and DEILD for now, until she gets over her fear. The thing is, if she is scared of something, it's quite likely that she will see it, because dreams are directed by our thoughts. Fear will hinder her efforts, she should have happy, excited about LDing attitude.

DILD is when you practice RCs, awareness, mantras and write a dream journal. There are no hypnogogic hallucinations associated with DILD, because you go to sleep normally and you get lucid while in regular dream.

DEILD is a shortend WILD. It's what you did, when you wake up from a dream and then within seconds you enter another one, only this time lucid.

It's really nice to see you helping your sister. Good for you guys, that you have someone close to you that you can talk LDing with. Happy dreams
