      Reality Checks

      How many reality checks should I do in a day?
      ATM I'm at maybe 30-50 or so any quick ones I can do?

      As for now whenever i see a mirror i try to touch it like in the car i touch my mirror when i get in and out and when i got the bathroom.
      I also about every 20 min during work I ask myself if "I'm dreaming" and then read something close my eyes and check again then tell myself "no" or try to push my finget into my hand.
      I find it hard to remember when i get home any tips to help me with this?
      I tried putting dots on my thumbs and palm and when i see 2 of them to do a reality check but i just don't notice at home.

      There is no limit. If you are feeling enthusiastic than dozens. Quality is more important than quantity. I now only do about 10- 15 in a day, but I really look around to see if I feel funny or anything that may help me decide if it is a dream. So, do lots, but worry more about really doing them right, rather than doing so many.

      Remember to really put some thought behind them, rather than doing a gazillion, but doing them mindlessly. You can try putting post-its around your house to remind you to RC. Maybe try something a bit bigger than dots? As they can be easily missed. Or wear a rubber band around your wrist.

      Ya thanks for the input i think a post-it on the fridge will work best.
      I try to do at least a dozen real hard check during the day where I try to see if I'm dreaming.

      30-50 sounds like a lot. If you want to push harder, try extending your reality check for as long as possible. Try to hold onto your increased awareness for as long as possible. If you get good enough, you can live your whole life in that heightened state of awareness.

      I would say somewhere around 1-2 an hour. When you do them, make sure you really take the time to look around and know for sure if you are dreaming or not. The finger through hand is a good reality check just make sure that while you do it, you actually believe you can put your finger through your hand. If you don't think it will work, it won't in the dream. Good luck! GET LUCID

      As soon as your recall is up (if it isnt already) another thing to do is All Day Awareness. You stay aware of your surroundings and what is happening at all times during the day. Also, as your dreams become more frequent, you should start to know what it feels like to be in a dream, helping you out with RCs.
