      lucidity is edging away

      HI!

ok, need to be quick; in college,

i learned of lucid dreaming around 8-10 weeks ago.

After vigilantly trying to attain lucidity in this time i had only had 9 DJ entries; i keep a dj next to me every morning without fail.

yet lately its not been needed, for around a month now i have not recalled a single dream.

i have had 2 dreams where im unsure if i was lucid or if i was dreaming of dreaming; if possible?

firstly, i was travelling through a dream involving various people in my life, then bang, im walking down a quiet country lane and the sun is shining, shortly before this id read of a method of gaining powers in dream. a super tic-tac. i just appeared there in the street, randomly bouncing out of my last dream scene, and i had a thought. im dreaming....lets FLY! but alas, doubt and fear of being incapable to set it. i looked down to my right jean pocket and reached in. pulling out the tic tac i willed to be in there; i held it up to my eyes and pondered if it would work. WOKEN BY BROTHER. argument ensues. seriously. i was P****ed.

my other dream i once again bounced suddenly into a new dream scene, in a randomold couples house, me and my brother are standing there i dont know who they are or why i am here. and again, a flash of clarity out of nowhere. i am dreaming....i decide to attempt to change the coloour of my brothers shirt of all things. i concentrate and green flows upwards from his waist covering the blue he had on. i think i got overexcited maybe because i woke up at this.

i am asking, why, why must i make a decision to CHANGE SHIRT COLOURS! when endless possibilities exist?

forgive my spelling and punctuation mistakes, i dont know what im expecting to get by writing this but i guess its assurance that my mind isnt incapable of LDing,

if it makes any difference, im 18 male and smoke copious amounts of cannibis. i am fully willing and fully capable of quitting if it increases chances of an LD.

I have researched many methods of inducing lucidity, even buying and reading a unique (i think) book which you can read and hypnotize yourself by reading, i RC hands through walls, counting fingers, reading words, checking time and holding my nose; all the while intently questioning if i am dreaming or awake daily. also if possible, and if not against any rules or policies, can someone help me with obtaining B6 and/or melatonin. i dont mean personally, i mean generally, how can i obtain them?

thanks for your time and reading,

      BYE!

      Hi

On the outset, you might wanna read this: http://www.dreamviews.com/f15/weed-dream-recall-124310/

Have you tried using supplements to enhance dream vividness? I've read (and experienced) that the more vivid the dream, the easier it is to recall. You can try having some apple juice or bananas before bed; many people report increased dream vividness with it. Or you can go ahead and use vitamins or synthetic supplements in different forms.

You can also try out autosuggestion, wherein you repeatedly tell yourself you will achieve a certain thing, in this case, remember your dreams.

Try them out, and see what works for you.

It seems you DID become lucid in both of the dreams you shared. I cannot be certain as to why you would choose to do such a mundane task such as change someone's shirt color as opposed to doing more awesome stuff. This might be because of low-level lucidity where you know it's a dream, but you're not quite yourself. One thing which I think would help with this is if you write up a list of lucid goals you want to achieve. Not only will this help motivate you to get lucid, but it will also give you something to do once you get lucid, and avoid wasting precious lucid moments standing there panicking about what to do.

Ehh hope this helps, I'm gonna stop rambling now lol. Good luck

Maybe it's a dream and if I scream, it will burst at the seams.
