Is it possible loose control of your lucid dream?

Okay so i was having a dream last night, which quickly became a night terror, It was a snowy tundra, completely bare except for snow and wind. I heard a voice in the air saying "Hello" i said "who is this" the voice replied "don't you know?" I respond by saying "no", the voice chuckles and says "look behind you" i do and nothing is there, the voice mocks me d\saying "no the other way" i look and then get a punch squarely in the jaw. Then a figure appeared, a carbon copy of me but with black eyes. I say "you're me" the figure replies "there you go, i am you, I am what you see, I am in control of this dream, and you can do nothing about it." I respond "you think i con't do anything?" I think in my head Wake up self, wake up" the figure, which i will now refer to as the dark, laughed saying "I know what your'e thinking, and it will not help you here. I am you, I know what you think, I know what you are, and I know what you desire." I reply "you know nothing about me and i can do anything i want this is my mind" to which it once again responds to with "but I am your mind, and i am in control here" after saying this he pulls out a Marionette of me and says "I want you to dance". He pulls on the strings and i start dancing. He then cuts a string and i fall to the floor. "ho..how can you do that?" "I can make you do anything I want, or rather what you want, you see that attractive woman over there?" I look and there is a very beautiful woman over there and a spark of lust enters my mind. "Ahh i felt that, that lust, you desire her" i say "no i don't" the dark says "oh yes you do, and i will also fulfill your desire for you" I reply "what? i thought you hated me? why would you do that? The dark replies "who said anything about me doing it? I am not just going to give her to you, I am gonna show what type of person you really are, a controlling, lustful man who will do anything to get what he wants, i'm gonna make you rape her, to fulfill your satisfaction" i stammer "wha..what I would never do that!" The dark responds "Oh yes you would, you want to do it, but you're afraid of getting caught, of being reprimanded, and that makes you weak." I then, having no control over my body, beat the woman and rape her, she is crying the entire time and i cannot do naything about it, i felt terrible. I said "this isn't me, this is not me!" the dark says "oh yes it is, this is you, you in your soul, your mind, I am just acting out what you desire so much" "No" i respond "this is not what i want!" to which the dark responds "Oh yes it is because this is what I want. Don't lie to me, anyways you have a big day today, i will leave you to ponder what i have told you. Time to wake up" I then woke up shaking, I am not a terrible person i want to help people in anyway i can, what does this mean? Also how could i loose control, of something i knew was a dream?

      Holy fuck, that was dark.

The reason you lose control of your dreams is where your brain is in the mindset of that fake reality, when something happens you get distracted and forget completely that it was a dream and then carry on as if it was reality. I done the same thing last night.. I became lucid and then got distracted and lost it and my dream carried on without me knowing it was a dream.

      It sucks :[
