      LD darkness

      Hello,

I started trying to LD lately and actually kinda succeeded.

I pulled my fingers to check that i was dreaming, and i was. But when i tried to do fun stuff, everything turned dark and i woke up. This happened two nights in a row.

      Anybody knows about that?

It's common for the first couple of lucids to be unstable, try to interact with the enviroment casually next time instead of getting excited about doing stuff. You can't look forward to things too much or you risk waking up.

It's happened to just about all of us at one time or another.

Slowing down and calmly examining your surroundings can help stabilize your LD.

If things turn dark sometimes you can recover before awakening by diving through the floor or trying to touch stuff while in darkness...sight is often the first sense you lose.
