That is a common misconception.
You don't need SP to get into lucid dream. So you definitelly should not wait for it, try to get into it, try to induce it, or even think about it. Do you normally have SP when falling asleep? (when you can not move at all, no matter what). If not, then you will not feel it when WILDing either.
The second misconceptin is, that SP is vibrations, sensations, hallucinations and other stuff, that you can experience when WILDing. Those things are not SP. Those are HH (hypnogogic hallucinations). Now those are something, that can somewhat give you indication, if you are getting closer to LD.
But even HH are not foolproof, because not everybody experiences them either, or all of them, or same ones each time, or same intensity.
So for a WILD, you basically let your body fall asleep while you keep your mind awake, untill your dream forms and you enter it by one of the many entry methods. That's all.
WILD by Sageous - if you gonna read just one WILD tut, this one should be it. Happy dreams
