      First LD Worst luck !

So finally after trying to LD and not getting any results for months i get one, i was in my dream and i was inside some bubble so i touched it and just realised "im dreaming" i didnt over react or get too excited i knew what to expect and how to keep it stable, problem is 5 seconds after that i get to hear the sweet sound of my bloody alarm clock!

Oops didn't mean to post that, lol, but I know how you feel somewhat.. My kids woke me up from 2 of my lucid dreams after 5 minutes. I did get to do a few things first but that's good you were able to stabilize it.. At least you know next time you will be ready :-)

lol, Seeing as i don't have kids my only problem was taken care of, My alarm clock was locked into a box and thrown into a lake no more disrupting my dreams!

Congrats on your first LD anyway, now you've gotten a taste for it I'm sure you'll get one easier.

Congratulations on the first lucid dream!'

Sure it was short...but it paves the way for more to occur.

At least you know the efforts and thoughts have become a part of you. Should make it easier for the next one to last longer.

Congratulations! I have the same "luck" from time to time, waking up from the lucid dream I mean, and it have leaved me super paranoid when I wake up haha.

I see my mom waking me up and letting in the sunlight and then I go down and eat breakfast and then brush my teeth. But then I realize that everything is not as it seems and I am in fact dreaming!
Then I woke up, because my mom woke me up... so I go down and eat breakfast for the second time and brush my teeth, then I get the same realization again!

Then I wake up again or do I? (I know I should reality check )

Same thing happens to me quite regularly. I'm sure I've almost managed to get fully ready for work without realising I'm still asleep.

Do you ever feel disconcerted when you finally wake up?

If I have multiple false awakenings I start to get a little bit of anxiety and depersonalisation, just for an hour or two, then it goes away.

Yeah I get a little paranoid, but then again I have a special view of life.

And I have been like that since I watched the Matrix.
