doing whatever i want in my dreams

So I've been lucid dreaming for quite a while now. I've had about 12 or so and it's only been like two months or something like that, but I haven't focused a lot on it since school started since it messes with my sleep. Last night I had the clearest and longest dream I've ever had. It was literally in high definition. My vision in real life isn't that good, and in my dream I didn't even need glasses to see perfectly! Everything was so crystal clear and it felt even realer than real life. The only problem is, I didn't do anything. I wished and asked and wanted stuff to happen but nothing would happen. I tried closing my eyes, I tried opening a door and going into another room, I tried everything... I could not control my dream at all. I was just in my house walking around hoping something interesting would happen. For about 15 minutes I would just wander around my house in high definition wishing for stuff but nothing came true... Then I went downstairs and asked my dad(in my dream) if I was awake and I wasn't dreaming anymore(i tell him about my dreams). He then told me yeah you're not dreaming anymore and since it was so crystal clear I believed him and I immediately woke up after that , nothing went blurry at all or anything, I just got tricked into thinking that I wasn't dreaming by a dream character... My question to you is, how can I control things? How can I make things appear? How can I go somewhere else? I always find myself in my house since I do WILD and I wake up into my dreams. It's so boring in my dreams since I can't control anything... All I do is walk around worrying about when I will wake up. How can I do stuff? How can I make girls appear? How can I do anything I want to do???? I keep asking and wishing and hoping but nothing at all happens... It makes me sad because it's such a waste of a dream to not be able to do anything I want in it...

The problem with super high quality dreams is that they're so real that you have a hard time believing in your powers. I've had several "more real than real life" quality LD's and I don't believe I've been able to do much in any of them in terms of control. Not all lucids should be controllable in my opinion, seriously, isn't it just too awesome to be true that you're actually in a world your brain has created that is so realistic? That in itself is enough for me. In time you'll be able to do a fair amount of control in those dreams too, but don't worry for now!

Dream control comes in time and with practice, it's mostly based on what you expect will happen and is not always that easy. You might expect a hot girl to be in a public bathroom, only to find out there isn't one because you've entered the men's bathroom. Believe in yourself! Use all the tricks there is and try different techniques, by that I mean mix passive and active control. You can also watch movies and gain inspiration from there and mimick how they use their super powers.

When summoning people I just call out for them and expect a faint "Yeah?" to be heard. After my second call I usually get a reply and voila, they appear from behind the corner

      Good luck!

You will need to develop dream control through slowly building your confidence. I know, you would like to do amazing things tonight. It just takes work and time.

Give yourself some very very basic goals and then complete them in a dream. What is your favorite hobby? Pick something from that hobby, like a card from the game magic, or a baseball if you play the game. tell yourself that the first goal you have is simply to hold and look at that object. With me it was a sword. It took three good LDs to get that far. I found a knife in the first, a torot card 'queen of sword', in the second, and finally I was able to get a sword. I pictured that I was in a fight and that my friends were behind me. With out looking I said "quick! hand me a sword," and reach back behind me. Someone put the sword in my hand.
At first you must create reasons for what happens. In my case I tried to believe a friend was there and would hand it to me. Say it was a baseball, you could tell yourself with pretended confidence. "I left that baseball in this box of junk" then look in the box picturing yourself finding it.
So, that is basic summoning. Also try to do some physical things that should be impossable. Do not try to fly or anything, just try jumping onto the hood of a truck, then jumpnig over the truck.
After many years you can create hurricaines and summon things out of the air. So, do the small stuff and know that it will be worth it in the end.
