Quick way to get into Sleep Paralysis?

So, i've been attempting the WILD method for quite some time now. The problem is that i can't get into SP at all.
If i try it before i sleep for the first time that night, i end up falling asleep after 40-50 minutes.
If i try to do it after i wake up once in the middle of the night (either with or without an alarm; sometimes i'll wake up a few minutes before the alarm sounds, and i'll just turn it off), i feel like i start to get into SP, but then my heart starts pounding hard and then the SP just... fails.

Are there any techniques to getting into SP quicker/easier? Because i've been trying for weeks now, but still nothing D:

You don't need SP for WILD. Check out Sageous tutorial for WILD. Or check out DEILD. I have had great success with DEILD since I started trying. Hope this helps. I'm sure one of the others here will be more helpful. Till then, fly strong my friend

      What BrandonBoss said ^^

Sleep paralysis is not necessary to achieve a WILD. Furthermore, the sensations you feel during a WILD attempt are not necessarily even SP, they're just normal bodily sensations your feel as it is falling asleep. Most people have just mislabeled is at sleep paralysis – though that is not to say it couldn't be.

The important thing is if it happens, let it be. If it doesn't, it's probably already happening and you're not noticing it. So don't fret. You can still WILD.

Definitely check out the link given above. If you're interested in DEILD, check this out: http://www.dreamviews.com/f49/dutchr...ld-god-134760/

      Good luck.

Maybe it's a dream and if I scream, it will burst at the seams.
