      Dreamsong: "I Miss the Rain"

      I know that there's a section for music and such "entertainment", but this just ties so much into dreaming and being lucid that I decided to post it here.

      There's this song. A song that, whenever I hear it, I come back to a mental picture that I know could only happen in a lucid dream.


      Especially after it picks back up at 2:50

      Just standing on some moonlight lake and hearing the music reverberate around the hills and distant mountains as if being played by the very earth itself, shaking me and pulling tears from my eyes. It's like I can finally just fall into the music and stop being... or maybe just stop being what I had been and become music itself.

      All the time it's playing, I'm singing the song, and then when it ends... the rain slowly starts to fall. And then there is no more... of anything.

      Oh, and if you're going to listen at all, you'll want good headphones/speakers. (No crappy earbuds, you'll ruin the music! )

      "Teleport 2 Me" seems to be the song I affiliate with lucid dreaming the most. When I started lucid dreaming, I played this song at least ten times a day because it was new and I liked it. Something about the chimes and woman singing in the background just gets to me. It's a simple song about wanting to be with someone when they are far away, but I like to think of it as the longing to meet my higher self and have it teleport to me.

      Oh, maaann... the video on youtube for that song reminded me of another trippy song: Seal's "Crazy".
