Your dreams seem perfectly normal to me. Especially for someone who is just starting out and getting into lucid dreaming. It is exactly that your dreams are blurry, it's that you don't recall all the vividness and detail. |

I am really attracted to the aspect of lucid dreaming because of how vivid these dreams are supposed to be. I have never had very vivid dreams. Like, at all. I'm 16, and all of my dreams seem to be so random and not clear at all. The weird thing is, I am not able to see in my dreams very well. It feels like there is a film over the dream that often makes it where I have a hard time understanding whats going on. I just made a dream journal, and I am trying to commit to this (I have done 4 or 5 reality checks today, and I need to get better, I know.) I made a dream journal yesterday, but this morning, my dream was so vague that I didn't know what to write. Something about the state of Idaho? idk. Areal view. Something to do with a white mazda suv? I just get these flashes of clarity. Granted, I am in high school, going to sleep at 10 and waking at seven, but it seems like my dreams should be clearer than they are. Other things it could have to do with are that I am really adhd, and take amphetamines for it. |

Thanks for the reply. Last night, i took melatonin and my dreams made far more sense. Ill look into the b6. Thanks. |

I don't know how long you have been keeping a dream journal, but that really helped me. My dreams seemed to be kind of bland, but once I got into the habit of remembering and writing them down, my brain was like "Oh! This is important to you!" And I started having better recall (and found out that for the most part my dreams are not bland, my recall just sucked). |

“Never forget that once upon a time, in an unguarded moment, you recognized yourself as a friend.”
Do you know how long it takes for the tolerance to go away? |
|
No I don't, but I assume it's different for everyone... just like getting the tolerance in the first place. I haven't tried it in a while, but maybe 7 months later I tried some and it didn't do anything. I didn't play around with it any, a higher dose or several times, so take that number with a grain of salt. |

Increasing vividness? Eat some chickpeas! They're a good source of Vitamin B6 which helps making dreams more vivid. I know oneironauts that also suggest to try out Celea Zacatechichi - which brings amazing lucid dreams and non-lucid dream. |

I have found that the more I write down my dreams, the more sense they make. Last night, my dream made perfect sense (still weird concept) but it had a plausible story line. It wasnt lucid, but as they get more and more vivid lding should get easier. thanks. |

I don't like using supplements, so I would recommend more sleep and a mantra. Believing that your dreams will be as vivid as real life. |
