      Semi-Lucid dreams?

Hey guys, I just made a new account, but I have been on here before and I am coming back to retry Lucid dreaming now that I have some stress off my mind. Anyways, A few months ago I had been trying to lucid dream and hadn't gotten there yet. The closest I've came were these two dreams I had that were a bit strange. I can remember these dreams as if they were regular dreams that I can remember, although I was lucid in them. Not full lucidity though, I couldn't change anything or manipulate my sub-conscious world. During the dreams I knew I was lucid, and when I woke up I remembered that I had a lucid dream, but I can hardly remember the full dream. Just some vague details, and key points. Was it just that I was in a lower stage of lucidity? Or was I not really lucid at all?

Also, I can't wait to start my path to lucidity back up, and talk with you wonderful people. May the lucid power be with you.

      Welcome back!

It looks like you had full lucidity (if you know you are dreaming, you are lucid). What can fluctuate, is level of awareness. Low level makes lucids look similar to regular dreams. But even in luicid, you may not have any control, even then it's a lucid.

It just takes a little practice, that's all. Check out the DV Academy, if you like, or browse the tutorials.

I have sent you a PM.

That's pretty much the closest I've gotten to lucid dreaming so far, too ... That is, I'll sometimes realize I'm dreaming but then I don't do anything about it. Haha. Nice to meet you, and good luck to both of us!
