      Can you count in LD ?

      Can you count from 0 to 10, 20... in a LD ? or is this impaired ?
      Check your memory, did any suprising event happpen ? does the present make sense ? visualize what you will do when lucid, and how. Reality check as reminder of your intention to lucid dream tonight. Sleep as good as you can; when going to sleep, relax and invite whatever comes with curiosity. Grab your dream journal immediately as you awake and write everything you can recall (if only when you wake up for good). Keep calm, positive and persistent, and don't forget to have fun along the way

      You can. Counting was a exercise used in several lucid dreaming experiments. You can even do mathematical calculations.

      So THAT'S what Cyrus was doing at the beginning of The Warriors! Obviously then the whole movie was a dream - I mean think about it - being chased through surreal empty New York locations by oddly-dressed gang members to 80's music...

      Obviously he was trying to make them all lucid, and that's why the one guy shot him - he was just a DC trying to prevent lucidity. Then the dream degenerated into a nightmare... makes perfect sense, why didn't I see it before??!!

      Yes, you can. I believe even more so if you are highly aware or lucid. I personally have trouble counting when I'm a bit hazy, and can't think straight. But yes, you can count in a lucid dream.

      Maybe it's a dream and if I scream, it will burst at the seams.
