      Smile Entering my self conscious

So last night i had a lucid dream, in the dream i was looking at a computer game called Runescape. I should mention that i had been looking for my friends old username on runescape all day and it was bugging me. So in the dream, I saw his old username infront of me, like in details.
This amazes me, so im thinking of doing it again tonight. Dont know what i should look for in my self conscious though. Any ideas?

Look for your identity, faults, or ALL YOUR MEMORIES!!! haha. Sounds like fun. There are about a million ways to try this, so I wouldn't give up if any of them fail once or twice.

Do you mean subconsciousness or unconsciousness? That's a really cool idea. Carl Jung described a process called individuation where unconscious processes become known by the ego or yourself. We individuate temporarily during phantasy (dreams) so lucid dreaming is a great portal! I think you should ask your unconsciousness through your dreams about prenatal memories and ask it to relive memories of your childhood. Tell me how it goes!

PS: Be careful though, Jung went insane after doing this... He recovered and studied it in other patients with the same problem and said that it was because unconscious complexes erupted consciously too fast that the ego just shattered into delusion...

That's something Iv tried to do, to seek my old memories and bring them back. I remember I had this "favourite toy box" where I stored all my toys and I hope to see it in one of my dreams, because I don't remember what was in it.

Interesting! You could try to ask the dream to recreate a certain day of your past, like a past birthday, and see how accurate it is. :3

Maybe it's a dream and if I scream, it will burst at the seams.
