Question Being too much time on computer, affects my dreams?

I've been noticing, when i was a little younger, i could have weird experiences
when i was trying to sleep, such as be falling from a high height or feel my body
paralyzed, my dreams were even more vivd. But now, most of my time i spent it on my computer, and i wonder if
being too much time on my computer, unable me to have those weird experiences
such as being falling, body paralysis or yet even have more vivid dreams.

      Thanks for help in advance

      Puppy!!!!

No, it isn't related to computer. Well, at the end of the day you end up with residue memory, so that might affect your dream content (short-term memories), but it's like you are hurting your dreams by staying in the computer. Trust me, I spend loooads on time at it
One factor that might contribute far more is your eating habits. A balanced diet, and a quality sleep schedule can make an huge difference on the vividness of your dreams. Besides, sleep paralysis isn't that common for people, so don't even worry about it

Check your memory, did any suprising event happpen ? does the present make sense ? visualize what you will do when lucid, and how. Reality check as reminder of your intention to lucid dream tonight. Sleep as good as you can; when going to sleep, relax and invite whatever comes with curiosity. Grab your dream journal immediately as you awake and write everything you can recall (if only when you wake up for good). Keep calm, positive and persistent, and don't forget to have fun along the way

I don't know if being on the computer a lot affects your dreams directly, but it can have a negative effect on how you sleep––which in turn may impact how well you remember your dreams. I'm not a real science-y person, but from what I understand, looking at a bright screen before you go to bed kind of tricks your brain into thinking it's daytime (because of the light) and because of that it may be harder to fall asleep afterwards. And if you're not getting enough sleep, then that may prevent you from having vivid/memorable dreams. It's okay to use your computer a lot during the day and in the early evening, but I would advise turning away from your computer in the hour or two before you go to sleep. Do something like meditate or read a book instead. Make sure you're getting around 8 hours of sleep a night ... and as zoth00 recommended, try to keep a balanced diet and consider other such factors that might be affecting your sleep/dreams. Good luck!

If you use your computer a lot at night I strongly suggest you check out this software: well I can't post a link apparently but just google f.lux
It shifts the all colors on your screen more towards the red spectrum and makes it MUCH easier on your eyes. You can set it to come on at sundown, but I keep it going all the time. The color shift isn't noticeable at all after a minute or so. And I've definitely found that it makes it easier to go to sleep right after getting off the computer.

Although like brigid said, the best way to do it is to not be on your computer for a few hours before you go to sleep.

f.lux is the program VagalTone linked to in his last post. I haven't tried it out yet but it does look really cool.

      Yo.
I am on computer almost all the time(I am THAT kind of a person, haha ), and i have pretty vivid dreams and had alot of interesting experiences in dreams, so i don't think it can affect quality of dreams negatively(and if it even affects, not by much), in fact, video game dreams are fun!
