Thread: Is LDing the ultimate state of repeatable altered consciousness?

Obviously there's many differing altered states of consciousness, from hightened awareness during stress incidents, to hypnosis, to hallucinagenic drug trips, to normal dreams, to orgasm, to mystical experiences etc etc

But, in terms of its raw capabilties, its potential transformative effect, its lack of nasty side-effects or possible dangers, its controllability, and it's repeatabilitiy, is LDing the 'best' form of altered consciousness? Subjective, I know ... but maybe a debate starter

I know that when I am an old man I will be happy to have LDs!
