I think it was a lucid dream. Generally if you were aware that it was a dream, then you were lucid. However, as someone recently pointed out in a thread on this forum, it is possible to have a non-lucid dream about being lucid, in such a dream you would not really have any awareness, it would be more like watching a movie of someone else having a lucid dream, and you would not experience that "aha!" moment of realization that it is a dream. The only reason why I bring this up is because you are asking in this thread whether you were lucid, which makes me wonder whether you have reason to doubt that you were. However, as long as you really were aware that this was a dream, then that is all that is needed for a lucid dream. Awareness and control can be low or high, vividness may or may not be higher, and logic may or may not be faulty, none of those are needed to make it count as a lucid dream. However, the awareness of the dream state is needed. I hope that I have just managed to explain this, and not make it more confusing - if I made it confusing, please disregard, and wait for another reply. |
