It does not want you to be lucid. The reason? Your subconsious wants to show you something in a dream, but you become lucid and manipulate what it tries to teach you just to have fun. Itīs last resort? Lucid Nightmares and FAīs. With nightmares, it will trap you, make you lose control, and get you in a nightmare. If you somehow escape, you get a false awakening, your subconsiousīs last hope. It can also skip the nightmare part, it usually does, but for some people like me it does not. Well, to keep up with what i was saying, it copies the detail as you remember it, and makes it extremely vivid. It also takes the position you are currently on while sleeping (like, if you are sleeping on your left arm, you will "wake up" on your dream left arm in the exact place. Has happened for me), but it does not have a way to counter RCīs, except for repeating FAīs. That is my theory anyway. Heh.
