I am here to teach you a few things about dreaming Think of me as your Big Kahuna
Although i havent had a lucid dream myself as of yet, i have hallucinated and had bad ones aswell..
Over my 2 months of hardcore studying of lucid dreaming and hallucinations here is what i have learned
If you have any questions feel free to ask me and i will answer with what i can!!
1: Sleep Paralysis -
Sleep paralysis is your body protecting you from acting out your dreams! As soon as your body thinks you are sleep it will put you into paralysis and you won't be able to move. As i said this is nothing to be afraid of because it is natural and you can't get hurt! Think of it this way, say you were sprinting in your dream and you started acting it out, you would end up hurting yourself so your body stops that from happening
2. Weird Noises/ Weird Visuals -
While hallucinating and going into your dream state, you may see or hear weird things, for example your name being called or a door opening or someone walking around your bed. THIS IS NOTHING TO BE AFRAID OF! These are all figments of you imagination and can't hurt you! Seriously
3. Never waking up -
It is physically impossible to not wake up from a dream of any sort, if this is a reason you don't want to lucid dream then please, it can not happen! If you are seriously worried then put on a couple of alarms at a fairly high volume!
4. Nightmares -
Whilst in your dream you can control it, you can do whatever you want and can change what happens around you. If you go into a dream and its a nightmare and you are lucid then try to change the dream to how you would want it. For example if there was a scary man staring at you or something, walk up to him and say "Hi, how are you doing? I'm "blah" where are you from?" It will only be scary if you think it will be scary.
If there is anything else you are unsure of please let me know
I hope that this thread can help some people overcome their fears and feel the power of lucidity!
