      Dreaming, while having a fever

When we have a fever, it is difficult to sleep peacefully. Much worse is trying to dream. When I have a fever, a lot of abstract things pass through my mind: i see numbers appear and disappear, i see lines od all shapes and sizes, images that move too fast... Even when I wake up, this images won't stop. Sometimes I do not know if I'm awake, if i'm dreaming or hallucinating. It is very difficult to relax and concentrate. I think this happens to you too.
And what about lucid dreaming? In this state should be impossible to have lucid dreams. Did you have LD's while in fever? How was it?

I only had hallucinations during fever. Aaaah that was awful, I tried to smash the window with my hands and saw everything moving towards me like those traps in old films like walls moving to you to squash you.

I think I might have gotten a lucid during a fever but it sucked. What happened was I became lucid and started flying but then realized that I was watching myself fly on a screen and I woke up. Not fun. Also, I always have the same dream/hallucination when I have a fever, its kinda impossible to describe though, but its an uncomfortable and frightening feeling. It involves these tiny black things that move around and group together, that's the only part I can put into words, the rest is too abstract.

I rarely have LDs, but I have EXTREMELY vivid dreams when I have a fever. They're also a bit crazier than usual...

It sounds like what happens to me also. It's too confusing. It gets extremely tiring on our heads.

My lucids are rare during fevers, but they're definitely amazing. In fact all my dreams are completely whacked out and crazy in fever dreams. I've always noticed that my dreams are much more interesting during fevers, it's the only thing I like about them.

Wow how strange. I've just recovered from a really bad cold/fever. So it was interesting to see how my dreams were.
For me I found the constant interruptions in my sleep from coughing and a high temperature worked a bit like WBTB. I found myself having lots of short lucids but they were especially surreal and the mood was dark. More like lucid nightmares.

I eventually discovered an old cure from my grandmother: whiskey, blackberry juice and ginger, before bed, seemed to really help falling asleep and made my dreams longer and stranger.

      Sounds like a nice cure

I don't tend to notice any more vivid dreams when I have a fever, so I think I'm the same regardless...
