I would add a classification by the way dreams both lucid and non-lucid unfold:
a. Linear dreams - I would say those dreams which happen in one night and have a story line which has a start and an end, the dream could change from one place and/or story to another, although they always seem to move in a straight line from the moment they started to the end. There are no connections to past dreams.
b. Multiple choice dreams - Those dreams where I can rewind and play the dream from a point where I want to change some action to get a different result, it can be done multiple times along the dream. They always end different for every choice I change.
c. Multiple point of view dreams - I can rewind the dream and switch to another point of view to see the dream unfolding again, there's no significant change in the story line.
d. Long time chained dreams - (some DEILD could be considered into this classification) Those dreams that happen from time to time, they don't use to happen in just one night. There's always a continuity in the story line, as there wasn't any long lapse of time between them although there was indeed, and it can be from days to months or even years (Usually they are in the set of nightmares).
e. Long time fragmented dreams - When there's a blank lapse between one dream and the next one which seems to follow a straight line and significant changes had occurred during my absence as I had gone to another place.
f. Amnesia like dreams - These dreams seem to have started long ago, I don't have any recall of their beginning although I'm presented with evidence that shows I've been doing things I cannot remember at all.
Hope it has some sense
