Thread: Types of Dream Weapons?

I've been having various discussions with other members, and I've noticed that some have made creative dream weapons and defenses, Apocalyptic Weapons and such....

I was wondering if anybody has created some interesting dream-specific weaponry and items? I would really love to hear it.

I have but it wasn't a lucid dream, i imagined i had a sword it was long and thin like a katana and it had a sniper scope like one off call of duty world at war and i like shot someone with it.

Dream weapons:
Fear, War, Hate and Symphony. Each one has a different ability, to fake reality, to stop it, to bind it and to destroy it, special resistance depending on the wielder and some special form of attack/defense, I may have more, but these are the strongest.

Ah my favourite weapon in dreams will always be the M-4 Carbine rifle. I guess I'm not too creative heh

Its quite a coincidence that the poster above me has a Bleach avatar. My next stable lucid I plan on attempting to reach into my subconcious and grab my Zanpakutou. If you don't know what it is, it is basically a sword that is already a part of you, you just have to find it. You don't decide what it looks like, or what powers it has, you just discover them. I think it would be cool to see what my subconcious can create.

Is there anyway you can elaborate on these abstract abilities? They sound interesting.

The coolest thing you've ever seen from a show or movie often works pretty well. Or, even that you've read about in books (if anybody does that anymore ;P)

Ah elaborating, something I'm bad at lol
War: Stops reality from flowing outside the ones fighting, therefore using any kind of special power against it is useless.
Hate: Binds reality, when swinging it, it shots some boomerang shaped shadow that changes everything it touches into something else, the order must be specific and can only do one at a time.
Symphony: Destroys reality, same as hate, just that it can't change, just destroys anything its lance shaped white shadow touches, order specific and only one at a time.
Fear: Fakes reality, or in other words, illusions, if the weapon (claws) touchs the target then the illusion can't be stopped. Sometimes it may change shape from claws to a shield depending on who uses it.

Also, not anyone can use my weapons, depending on the DC that uses it, it may be something useless that will break to just wind, to something that may cut diamond with ease, oh right, all of them have consciousness and may not like what they are being used for, in that case the user can be killed or the weapon will refuse to do anything.

About all that... I prefer death spikes....

Fire, ice, and electrictiy from my hands, a tail, claws, a pair of blades coming out of each of my hands(similiar to wolverine), gauntlets with three blades surrounding them, katanas, pistols, shotgun, and my favorite a red or blue fire blazing soul reaver (from Legacy of Kain video game) it's a wavey blade with a skull for the hilt.

I had a weird one once, I decided to just say " Wildcard! " whenever I was fighting someone in an LD, and a violin materialized out of a green ball of light that appeared in front of me, and when I played it, the air around the strings would become distorted and send out shockwaves that slammed into my opponent, knocking them into a wall and creating a dent in it, afterwards, it created 5 massive whirlwinds that flew off of it and hit my opponent, drilling through him and blowing him into little pieces, afterwards the violin dissapeared in a burst of green light and I went on with my LD : P

The only weapon I used so far in a dream was probably an M-1 Garand.

I pulled off a MeaN Kamehameha last night. I havent used it in a fight yet but thats my aim. Kindof hard to aim though, also putting power into it is a bit hard. Anyone else know how to power it better than just willing it to?

hehe great topic. When I was younger I had a celtic short sword called Sepharim (means Cipher in hebrew) but she was broken by a mysterious knight in the secret sea cave of the pirate Barbarián during a duel. Also I've a spell called Incendio (as Harry potter xD) when I spend it two fire orbs appear in both palms of my hands. And now I'm trainning an invisible arch but I haven't had a result yet And, of course, when I become in eagle I can use my claws hehe it's really cool^^

After trying to break out of my usual "ultra violent" approach to dream enemies, I recently used a teleporter gun to dispatch a bunch of hooligans. I usually prefer not to use guns in dreams though, because we already have them 'here,' you know? Unless it's a fun and creative spin on a gun.

The manipulation of water is really fun, but can be complicated sometimes. But I was able to pull off some tidal waves, and I waterboarded a DC.

On the other elemental side, I've been trying to conjure a flame sword. No luck yet.

It looks like something that you would use to scrape paint off of a wall, but you used it to scrape somebody... Don't mention if it isn't good, I used Paint and I'm not somebody that likes to make stuff on the computer.

Mine is the portal gun from, well "Portal". It helps with teleportation, and I can kill anything that I shoot at(it shoots a blue beam that creats the portal and is destructive)

I haven't tried yet but I'd like to have a dragon which I can use to help me obliterate my opponents. That would be so awesome.

I don't usually harm the people in my dreams but I have created a pretty interesting weapon for those boring days. The weapon shoots a wormhole and literally sucks anything within the given vicinity straight into it. I have used it on single DC's and I have used it on entire cities, it is quite fun watching everything get sucked into oblivion.

Hmm I usually dont use weapons in my dreams,
And if I'm getting into a fight vs some monster or alien or w/e I usually just use energy weapons, or if its a human I'll use my fists

Though I had this one dream where I was fighting like 5000 ninjas, and I had 2 Katana's

As a rule, weapons are notoriously ineffective for me in dreams. I've trained a lot of Kali/Eskrima in RL, though, so as a result there can be a lot of knives involved when I dream. (I snuck up on a hiding sniper and stabbed 'im in the side of the neck in a recent war-themed one, that was pretty intense. Heh.)

Last night I found myself in a nerd-joy lightsaber fight. Unfortunately, I started out wounded and had to lose according to my dream script... but it was one of those heroic save a buncha people losses. I'm sure they built a statue to honor me, or something.

Hmm for me I haven't used weapons much. I'm surprised I haven't had more gun using dreams. But if I am violent in a dream I just seem to get certain abilities such as super jumping, extremely fast running, and basically the ability to do whatever I need to do to stay alive in a sense. Basically My dream control sky rockets when I am in danger. Even though I know it's not real danger.

Mine are usually magic based skills (Lightning, Earthquakes, flames, etc). Every now and them I use a Polearm (Crescent Blade is my favorite) or Quarterstaff for extra help.

I think my favorite so far was transforming into a Werewolf and bounding around, tearing enemies to shreds. >:]

Most often, I use martial arts, telekinesis, pyrokinesis, "ki" waves and blasts (a la Dragonball Z).

Coolest weapon that I remember ever actually materializing was when I called a satellite laser beam, down through the sky (kind of like the Hammer of Dawn, in Gears of War), and obliterated an entire police force with it.
