Hi there! |

Im new to this. I have been conciously trying to induce DILDS for about a month and a half. I have had four lucid dreams total. However, in the past week or two, I've nearly lost all my progress, it seems. I'm less interested in LDing, I am not remembering to RC as well, and my recall is somewhat lacking. I know that I should be doing more RCs and ADA, but I have been very lazy and don't really care to do those often. I also just got GTA 5, so that probably isn't helping either. |

losing interest in lucid dreams is the #1 killer of lucid dreamers. We try to stay motivated by staying on DV, watching dream related movies, or relating movies that are not related to dreams to movies. Sometimes it just seems like a waste of time to me even, but it is worth it in the end. Keep trying and keep moving forward. The goal is right around the corner! |

This is normal. I guess we get this randomly. Sometimes we have a lot of LD's, then they stop, then we get them again. |

Along with what has been said, if you dont want to LD, you wont. Thats actually a good thing. LaBerge said he was having so many during research he was worried he couldnt stop them. But when he didnt work to have them, they stopped. This is true for most of us. I have gotten tired or motivated by something else and didnt care if I had an LD for 2 or 3 weeks, and they stopped. But when I got eager to have them they resumed. Nothing wrong with breaks. I am on vacation now and hitting the bed tired. Told myself not to worry if no dreams or LDs...my grand kids are getting up before 6:30 so I cant sleep in. So no good dreaming as expected until today, when I fell asleep on the couch at 8:00am. Then had a nice LD. Since I dont really know how I cause them, I used to worry they would suddenly stop and that would be it. But thats not the case. If you want them they always come back, once you have some experience....even if you hit a lull for a few weeks, which is just usually not really caring to have them at that time. |
