Natural Lucid Dreaming? What is Astro Projection?

I more often than not have lucid dreams and had no idea until today and joining this site that there was ways to induce them. I didn't even know until high school that I was having lucid dreams, I just thought it was normal. I've been reading some threads and it appears it can be a natural thing. Surprise for me since I'm pretty well bad at most things in life, guess I have to have one good thing! Slightly addicted to sleeping so I can dream! I've also noticed a lot of people mention this astro-travel thing but not many go into it...... what exactly is this?

Ahh, you are one of the lucky ones that didn't need to work to achieve lucidity :p good on ya. Haha. And I think you might be referring to the Astral Plane ? It is a wonderful place that many of us wish to go to but do not see very often, I suggest you read up on it as it is very interesting. A place where you are at one with everything, just as everything is at one with you. So much information is readily available and many entities are ready to show themselves to you, you only need to allow yourself to see.

Astral projection is a technique similar to lucid dreaming but is based on the belief that you do not enter a dream world, but an actual plane of existence or another dimensions. I don't believe it's true but that's for you to decide. If you believe in other dimensions being accessible to us then by all means astral projection is something to look into to.

Astral projection is whatever you make of it. I personally think it is some sort of new-age bs. It's kind of like a placebo in an experiment- if you believe something will happen today you, then it probably will. Kind of like hypnosis - those who believe in it are more susceptible to it. It guess it would be interesting for your if you're interested in all that spirit world stuff. Just my thoughts.
