What Do Your DCs Say too You???

Tell a story of something a DC said to you and how you responded. Recently a DC was I guess my room mate. I was trying to explore and he kept hasseling me about my share of the rent. So I pulled something random out of my pocket and figured it would be money. I said "You are right, here I will give what I owe, plus $400 to make up for any groceries I have used." The DC got happy and no longer bothered me.

Re-toast of what I posted in another thread So I'm in one of my old schools, and there's this huge new room that I knew wasn't there before, so I say out loud, "I'm dreaming.", which turned me lucid. Suddenly, an old teacher is in the doorway, and she says, "How do you know you're dreaming?" I say, "Do you remember this room?" She shrugs and says, "Okay, yeah, you're dreaming."

I remember one time, about 8 years ago, I was in a library and lucid, and I asked the dream for a wise dream person to come talk to me. Instantly a dream guy that looked exactly like a person I know walked up to me. But it wasn't the same person, it was just kind of like the dream person was wearing that guy as an avatar. So we sat down at a table and I asked him what his favorite book was, and he pulled out three books and told me all their names. I instantly woke myself up so that I would remember, and my memory of it immediately started to blur like it usually does. I remembered that one was about homelessness (couldn't remember the title), another was called The Pearl of Paradise, and I completely forgot what the third was. So I googled pearl of paradise and it was actually a real book, and I was super excited so I ordered it. It was some really old book (centuries old) that was an allegory about chasing what we desired and how we can get it but then we realize that it wasn't our true pearl of paradise. But we keep seeing what it is that we think we want and we expect it to make us whole but it never does.

A wierd one for me last night in fact. A DC spoke to me from a short distance, I don't really remember this sentence. Then I remember most of the rest. Me: "Who are you?" Her: "I'm your maid" Me: "I have a maid?" Her "Of course you do." Me "I must be quite rich then." Her: "Well you did invent a knife that (I forgot)" I wish I remember what she said about the knife, at the time I found it quite funny. Oh and none of this has any relevance to my real life.
