      One eye open

My most recent lucid experience was probably my least enjoyable one yet. I was completely in control of my body, except for one thing. My left eye was stuck closed. It was rather frustrating and I ended up losing lucidity after giving up on it. Any idea what I can do to prevent this from happening? Thanks.

I asked a similar thing not too long ago - here's the thread (If you're too lazy to copy-paste): Heavy Eyelids While Lucid

      And again...

Third time lucky. I hope it works, or maybe my phone cannot post links any more.

When I press the link below on my "phone notes"... the link takes me there. Then, once posted on this thread the link on this thread don't work... (???)

      Thanx

      http://www.dreamviews.com/general-lu...ile-lucid.html

Ha! it worked. I just turned the phone off and on. Then posted to my invisible dream journal here on Dreamviews and it worked.

      Any way

Nick Newport covered the common problem of OBE blindness in in Lucidology 103. He give a few techniques. But he himself kept finding himself blind in some Obe's.

Then he found himself surrendering to it, cos it kept happening. Then he noticed that he had a new sense. He calls the new sense "volumetric" sense.

It made me wonder if there might be be species of highly evolved inteligent aliens that never evolved sight or hearing. But evolved sesnses unimaginable to us

There are animals on our planet with senses alian to us. Like sharks electrical sense and they can use thier electric capacity to stun prey then eat them.

A blind and deaf alien race may have evolved "volumetric" sense
And they may consider us massively disabled having sight and hearing but no "volumetic" sense.

There are pictures of a mythical creature that may represent "volumetric" sense. ..

We think creatures without sight or sound would never evolve into ... better than us.

But the way many, many proficient OBEers encounter Blindness, I am suspicious that there might be advanced aliens that want to communicate with us. But they don't see or hear and need to train the advanced LD/OBEers amongst us, to begin discovering and operating with thier much more usfull senses. Or else, there may be no possibility of Stella inter-species communication.

      Just a thought.
