Hmm, this is tough for me, as I don't really use lucid dreaming as a way to overcome situations in my life. But, I see how I could so, I'll just share my thoughts on how I personally would go about it. The way I would view this is, I could go about it a few ways, with varying levels of intensity. First, I might try just to talk to my DCs in a comfortable environment and just practice that there. But, let's say that, that didn't work, as I feel it wouldn't really for me, which isn't to say, though, that it wouldn't work for you. Second, I might try and actually meet my dream guide or a character like my dream guide and ask them to help me overcome the fear with the help of lucid dreaming. And, let's just hypothetically say that, that doesn't work, although I feel like that could work even if it was just a placebo effect. But, lastly, I would try to speak to my subconscious directly, by manifesting it as an entity in my dreams. While speaking to it I would try to figure out why I had social anxiety and how I could overcome it, maybe even make some deal or come to some conclusion with it on how to overcome it.
