Question regarding other peoples reactions in a dream.

      Hello everyone.

I myself have never had a lucid dream before, but when I do (Activly trying to) I was wondering how conversations and all that with others would go.

I'll take an example that about everyone could relate to I guess...

Say you have a crush on a girl; obviously, she does not know.
Now when you're lucid dreaming and you decide to let your feelings go loosh and kiss her, how would "she" respond?

Would she respond as she would in Real Life?
Would she respond as you expect it in Real Life?
Would she respond as you expect at that moment in the dream?
      Or is it completely random?

I may not be the greatest person to answer this as all my lucid dreams end when someone tries to shoot/punch/kick me.
Anyway, back to the question: It is most likely she would react as you expect at that moment in your dreams.

The thing with people in dreams is that they are based on your experiences and expectations.

If you expect her to react a certain way, then she will. Her personality will be whatever you percieved it to be in waking life. For example, if she, to you, is a very nice, caring person, then she will be that way in your dream. It's all about expectation and intention in the dream world.

Its your dream, I think she probably wouldn't respond good if you were thinking she wouldn't, if you think she'd respond good to it then she would.

My reaction to my first LD. I was pretty excited and calm. Try not to get too excited if you have one because it might go away. Just tell yourself not to get too much excited.

When you are talking to DCs in your dream, they will respond normal. Or random. But if its an important DC they wouldn't mind what u had to say, if you think it would be good. Then it would. If they're nice, they'd be nice in the dream and it's all about what you think will happen.

      Hope this helpsss

Her response could be a reflection of your fears, your desires, or totally nonsensical. Things will go as you expect them to if you're good at controlling lucids, which for me is about being confident that you can do whatever you want to. I've never really put effort into controlling the DCs in my lucids, and interacting with them is the most interesting thing about lucid dreaming for me. It's like they're entirely seperate entities within my own mind, even though they aren't really.

They would respond the way to EXPECT them to.

Expecting is a large part of LDing.

This is actually a good way to build self-confidence

First of all, welcome to dreamviews!

As far as your question goes I can only provide my own personal experience. Whenever I LD (I've had much more LDs than my counter, just cba updating), whenever I expect something it happens. So for example I am searching for an item and I CONSCIOUSLY expect it to be behind me, around the corner or in my pocket then it will be. I've even pulled a chair out of my pants pocket lol.

So if you expect her to go full out on you and eat you up, then she will. However there sometimes are limitations or exceptions. Keep trying, but keep in mind that you'll just be substiting real love for fake love. It may be good practice to get over your anxiety though, so if you don't use the experience then you'll only end up fooling yourself of course! It's up to you wether you're okay with that though. Good luck man!
