Does Lucid Dreaming actually cause sleep paralysis experiences?

So I'm aware that sleep paralysis has been listed as a bad side effect from Lucid Dreaming. But does Lucid Dreaming actually cause it? I know that it can be caused frequently from sleeping disorders. Personally I've never had Sleep Paralysis except when I've felt it while dreaming and it was a bit scary but it actually helped me to become lucid. It wasn't really that bad at all but a lot of people have reported horrifying experiences and reading these reports have been interfering with my intention to Lucid Dream. I know how important intention is when trying to Lucid Dream but my fear is interfering a lot. Hoping someone could shed some light in the situation.

I have never experienced SP within 3 years of lucid dreaming practise. Juwt don't wild and you'll probably be 'safe' from it.
Except from the on3s after waking up, but I also never had such one

When you DILD, you are not going to get SP.

When you WILD, you might. But not because of WILDing. Just because you may be more aware while falling asleep and when waking up. SP can happen at any time, although it's quite rare for most of us.

If it happens, there is nothing to be scared off. Especially if you know it may happen and you get ready for it. Remeber, anything you may see or hear, is just a hallucination. It can not hurt you. If you keep nice and pleasant thoughts in your mind, you are likely to have nice experience. And if you feel like you cant move, thry to stand up or roll out of the bed. if you truly paralyzed, you will move your dream body and the moment you do that, you will realize you are in a lucid dream.
