I would say 2 every 5-10 minutes may be excessive BUT, why not, if its not interfering with your daily life then keep doing it. Personally I do 1-2 times an hour...and I haven't had a proper lucid dream yet so maybe I need to up the anti. |

It's not interfering with anything so I'll keep doing it |

Also what RC's do you use? |

I look at my hands and looka t the fingers and see if I can put my figer through my hand. I plug my nose to see if I can breathe. In my dream i was able to put my finger through my hand. Sorry for the sloppy writing I'm on my iPad. |

Try to do 3-4 per hour. I find that to be a comfortable amount. |

The egg is the world.
Who would to be born must first destroy a world.
Well, this very hardcore, but if you want to to follow the advice of Paul Tholey ( my signature ) and some advanced dream yoga practices, then itīs better to devise a strategy to hold a critical reflective mindset as long as you can... |

Check your memory, did any suprising event happpen ? does the present make sense ? visualize what you will do when lucid, and how. Reality check as reminder of your intention to lucid dream tonight. Sleep as good as you can; when going to sleep, relax and invite whatever comes with curiosity. Grab your dream journal immediately as you awake and write everything you can recall (if only when you wake up for good). Keep calm, positive and persistent, and don't forget to have fun along the way
It does not really matter how many times you do them, but how you are performing them. Obviously yes, a standard amount of more RC's than not is good, as to induce the habit of doing so. However, if you are not truly questioning your reality with every RC, well then the purpose is almost defeated. If you don't get into the habit of questioning your reality, and using a RC to give you an answer, then how will it play out in your dreams? Soon it could just become something you mindlessly do in your dreams out of habitual interest, not actually snapping you into lucidity. Ya know? |
