      Unusual Dream

So i went to bed normally and watched some TV and i feel asleep (i dont remember how).In my dream i was in my bed in the same position as when i watch TV but in the dream i had a memory of doing a prank on my friend and i watched it on my phone, then suddenly a jump scare appears on my phone and i turn it off fast and throw it away then i could not move and my stomach started vibrating and it was getting stronger and stronger i stayed calm and soon came to think it was a dream i tried doing reality checks but they all worked just like in waking life. After some time my stomach stopped vibrating and i got up to get a glass of water but there was a man in my house and he told me a joke, after that i woke up in the exact same position i was when my stomach was vibrating.
The reason why i wrote this was because i feel asleep somewhere between 11:30 and 0:00 and woke up at 0:30.
Can someone explain this to me please?

It sounds like you had what's called False awakening.

It's a normal non-lucid, in which you dream that you woke up and went around doing your daily rutine.

When RCs work the same as in waking life, it's most likely because they are done without emotions. Without awareness and thinking "wow, this could be a dream". If we don't believe that RC will work while we practice it, it will also not work when in a dream. Because in dreams things happen the way we believe they will. And if we don't believe that RC will work, then it will not work.

If you RC every time when you get up from a bed, next time you have false awakening FA, you will also RC and you will realize you are dreaming and become lucid. But you have to believe, that it will work. Good luck

We do dream also in NREM. In general, those dreams are not so vivid or detailed as REM dreams.
