One thing that i usually do, in my daytime practices, is to put effort in cultivating a critical reflective mind. But i think i forget to deal with my waking life reality with the same equanimity, poise, balance and ease that i aspire to do in my lucid dreams - and so, how can i expect that to happen in my dreams as well ? Do we put too much effort in techniques which after all canīt influence the way we will behave in a lucid dream ? I mean, how can someone ( hope i'm not ) who succumbs quickly to negative emotions and gets easily drawn by life hassles, hope to behave with clarity and full control in a lucid dream ?? |

Check your memory, did any suprising event happpen ? does the present make sense ? visualize what you will do when lucid, and how. Reality check as reminder of your intention to lucid dream tonight. Sleep as good as you can; when going to sleep, relax and invite whatever comes with curiosity. Grab your dream journal immediately as you awake and write everything you can recall (if only when you wake up for good). Keep calm, positive and persistent, and don't forget to have fun along the way
