      Natural Lucid Dreaming

Hello all. I'm brand new to the forum and joined because I have some questions.

I think I'm a "natural" lucid dreamer. I believe everyone on Earth has the ability to lucid dream and astral project, but I believe maybe some people are just more inclined to. The first encounter I remember with this ability was when I was 14 and would have these dreams where I would see the room as it was but I was sleeping and knew I was sleeping, and felt these intense vibrations. It would scare the crap out of me and happened for years. I finally googled my symptoms and astral projection came up and matched everything I was experiencing.

Well ever since then I've tried to do it but honestly I'm too scared. Recently, and during periods of high stress, I've been lucid dreaming all the time. Knowing its a dream and changing things. Sometimes for the worse. How can I make this stop? I hate that I do it, I don't do it on purpose.

I was about 4 years old when I had my first lucid dream, now at the age of 16 I barely get one a month. Trying to find a way to get back into it properly again. If you want to stop changing things when you become lucid, why not just make a point of relaxing and letting it flow next time without putting any effort or thought into it?

I started out just naturally lucid dreaming I guess.. It's strange.. It all started with a bathroom door. lol. No, really..

In the beginning, I started to have these dreams where I would get up out of bed and walk to the bathroom.. I would try to shut the bathroom door, but it wouldn't shut.. Now, our bathroom door shuts fine in real life.

After having many dreams about getting up and going to the bathroom, I came to realize that something was fishy about the bathroom door.. I eventually realized that I was dreaming whenever the bathroom door wouldn't shut.. I became aware.. I had dreams like that for a while, with the bathroom door.. That always helped me to start and dream lucidly when I was first starting out.. I just kind of figured it out on my own, I guess.. I noticed something "out of the norm" and questioned it..

I don't need the bathroom door anymore, though.. I just sort of "naturally" realize that I am dreaming.. I usually am aware in my dreams..

The thing is, I haven't "mastered" it yet.. There are dreams where I can control what I do, but I cannot control my surroundings.. If that makes sense..
