      Mastering Lucid Dreaming?

I'm a beginner lucid dreaming and an still improving my dream recall (: I would like ask a few questions and would greatly appreciate it if you guys took time to help me out (:
1st question~ How may I learn to mast lucid dreaming after I've succesfully had my first LD?
2nd question~ once I master LD , would I be able to LD every time I sleep, such as taking naps also?

That would be really helpful since I am a teen an get grounded on occasions haha (: I would never have a problem with staying in my room than.

      1: practice for years
2: it's the definition of "mastering," isn't it?

As a teen, you have your whole life ahead of you. Take the time to learn from good sources, get a good solid foundation under you, and never quit. You'll have a lifetime of awesome dreaming ahead of you as a reward. It may start slow in the beginning, but it *will* build over time if you never quit. I'm jealous since I only found LDing so late in life.... but better late than never.

Assuming that what you mean by "mastering" here is simply having an ability to LD on demand, rather than perfecting the art of establishing a consistent sense of Self in your dreams to a point where you can use this self-awareness to explore the depths of your mind, your soul, and perhaps your world, here are some thoughts:

Have your second LD. Then your third. Then your fourth. And so on. After a few thousand successes, you might get a glimpse of how to be a master of the art... just a glimpse, though, as taking the next step requires more than just repetition.

2nd question~ once I master LD , would I be able to LD every time I sleep, such as taking naps also?
Nope. Your body will still disagree with you on occasion, and, ironically, when you become a master you will come to value your non-lucid dreams, and will tend to make much time for them.

That would be really helpful since I am a teen an get grounded on occasions haha (: I would never have a problem with staying in my room than.
You will very likely be much to old to get grounded by the time you have mastered this art; perhaps even before you've become modestly consistent at conjuring LD's; best to find something else to do with your down time for now !

The best things in life take time and effort, and LD'ing is one of the things... give it the time it deserves, and expect to sacrifice the time this art demands.

It's kind of like mastering the guitar. Not going to happen by accident, and not going to happen quickly.

But, the process of learning is it's own reward. Personally my definition of success lies in the vividness of my dreams, not if I am lucid or not. I want to enjoy dreams every night, I don't care if only some of them are lucids. There is nothing like a really "real" feeling dream.

Also, don't rush it or stress out about it. Infinite patience brings more immediate results.

Yup, me too. I measure "success" for a night if I have lots of recall. Longer, continuous "feel like I"m there" vivid recall is best, but even a lot of little scenes is fun. Still working for frequent lucidity, though .
