Recently Ive been trying to keep a general vague awareness about myself; sort of like doing a reality check, but trying to stay in one, so that I very much live in the present moment for a large amount of time. It's very difficult to keep it going, but I think that it might have applications for helping with lucidity (obviously, if you remain aware of your surroundings at all times, you might be able to deduce you're dreaming) and also for procrastination. I have a lot of trouble with procrastination, and think that keeping my wits about me would help ward against slipping into my usual patterns.

Basically I'm wondering, does anyone have any advice regarding maintaining "All-Day Awareness" and have any stories to share for myself and others regarding what it feels like, its results and its applications? It would be very interesting to hear from you!
