First off, in the view of others, All Day Awareness is probably the most difficult awareness technique to really get into. Though it does take alot of time to perfect, once you really get it down the rewards are great. Of course though you have to take on the right mindset with it. If you approach ADA the wrong way then it ends up doing nothing and in some cases, even working against you.
Recently Ive been trying to keep a general vague awareness about myself; sort of like doing a reality check, but trying to stay in one, so that I very much live in the present moment for a large amount of time. It's very difficult to keep it going, but I think that it might have applications for helping with lucidity
That is common and everyone that gives any awareness technique a go tends to have this same difficulty in the beginning. After some persistence, determination, and just straight up not giving up or letting yourself quit, that mindset really does come on its own and you can withhold that awareness all day without a problem- I learned that from personal experience; all of this actually.
As for the results and applications, I can't help you in that area because I do Self Awareness, a completely different mindset towards awareness in my opinion.
