Two lucid dream in a row, some analysis

Hello, I guess some of you remember a thread a made about "Lucid dreaming using the will". First of all, I begun to write Dream Journal ( Awoken app is pretty useful for a lazy person like me ) on the app and it also do RC with a "totem sound", but I only wrote Dream Journal about Lucid Dreams I had recently ( 3 ). Anyway, I will say what I tried and apparently helped me:

      - I can't lucid dream properly if I am not on bed looking up ( sky direction ), not sure how to properly say this in english. Why? At least for me this occur: inside the lucid dream I begin to lose my balance as if gravity is affecting me and my view also fel like falling down to left or right ( depending to where I am looking when sleeping ), but if I sleep looking up ( in a comfortable way ) it works and I don't get thrown out of my lucid dream. That's for me at least.

      - I begun to use a phrase before sleeping to make sure I want to lucid dream, it seem to have helped. Something like ( just an example ) "Log-in" thinking in a serious tone and trying to concentrate imagining my body parts as if they were moving while with the eyes closed, in a calm way and imagining myself moving in a different world.

Not sure if this somehow helped me too, but I had bad nights these 4 last days and today I had only slept 4h ... went to sleep 4AM and awoke 8AM. 11AM I went to sleep and inside the dream I noticed I was dreaming and begun to move around in the streets ( I won't go in much details about the dream ), created some shortcuts etc ... I awoke. Then I probably made a WILD, I was still pretty awake and tried to sleep again but then I just started lucid dreaming in a weird world, there I tested gravity by walking in the wall, super jumping, moving through walls and flying.

But still, I have some questions:
Why in every dream ( lucid or not ) it's like I am in another world? For example, that one on WILD I was on a world living in a mansion with Goat like people ( don't ask me why because even I was like "wtf" ) but every single of them had different personality and were doing something alone without me directly thinking on what they needed to do. It's like I was on a movie with super powers and could also change the world, the mansion design was pretty random for example probably because I never thought of how the hallways would be connected etc. But in this lucid dream I made myself exit in fear or so I would say, I left the mansion while moving through the walls and went to the street ... it was very vivid with cars moving, people talking and I felt my bones of the head trembling a lot. I begun to lose balance inside the lucid dream and the scenary begun to disappear ( I guess it's because there was too much action happening at once ), I calmed myself and it went back to normal but the weird feeling didn't stop and I was like: "What the hell, I hope I don't get some brain damage or anything as I didn't sleep a lot these days" and forced myself to eject of the dream. I awoke feeling very well and not tired, should I just ignore it next time?

I'm not sure why you can only lucid dream properly while sleeping on your back, but it may just be the most comfortable to you. Perhaps your mind just finds that position the most relaxing which makes your dreams more "normal" and makes it so that you aren't falling to the side at all. You may also just be more "in-tune" with your physical body position while asleep. Whenever I have a lighter lucid dream, and especially towards the end of it, I can feel my waking body a bit in addition to my dream body, which can make for some weird interactions.

As for why your dreams feel like they're in a different world, that's because they sort of are. I won't go into much detail, (unless you want me to) but when you're dreaming, your memories are not 100% (hence why it's hard to remember all of your dreams) and so your brain makes some of the stuff up. It makes up some weird situations that you normally would never imagine, but in your dreams they become reality. It's how most people's dreams are, and in my opinion, it makes them more entertaining

In terms of the trembling bit, that was probably you about to wake up. When I can tell I'm about to wake up, my body gets a might lighter feeling, and almost a tingly sensation, so you may be experiencing something similar. You did exactly what you should in this case, which is calming down and trying to stay in the dream. Sometimes, though, you can't stop it, and so the feeling will continues as you wake up. Sometimes it takes a couple seconds, sometimes it takes half a minute. Know that this is all completely normal, though, and you cannot get brain damage from your dreams. What you do with it is up to you. You can ignore it and carry on with the dream, to see if it really is you about to wake up, or you can explore it and see if you can figure out exactly why this causes (curiosity can be very powerful ).

Hopefully I answered your questions, and if you have any more feel free to ask .

Thanks for answering, when I am Lucid Dreaming I know when I am about to awake and normally can get myself stuck in the lucid dream by force ( unless for example, someone from outside keep calling me and it break my concentration ). I was most worried about the "trembling" effect, good to know it's nothing
