      Question Forgotten Memories

Has anyone recovered forgotten memories in an LD? I know it's probably difficult to confirm, but say you have a partial memory from your childhood and wanted to go back and remember the whole thing?
I would love to try to revisit a small memory from the past....

Hmm, I've never had real memories recovered in a dream. Rather I've had old childhood dreams recovered in my dreams before, or at least bits of them.

Sounds like a creative way to create false memories

I feel (Meaning, not confirmed at all!) that actively trying to recover memories, without having memory of said memory would result in a fabrication of a memory.

Yes, I am aware that I said memory a lot.

No, I don't think it makes any sense to the rest of you.

I agree with SinisterDezz (yes it made sense to me ). It's hard to be sure whether or not you're recalling memories you've *forgotten* or if you're just fabricating new ones. I'm not sure I'd be willing to risk making new memories and thinking they're real just to remember some little thing that happened when I was a child. Your brain does a pretty decent job at remembering important things.

Don't let that discourage you from going back to experience something you remember, or just experience being a child again. It's just a matter of personal preference what you'd want to do in this scenario.
