I immediately wake up every single time I become lucid.

The past few weeks I been having many DILDS. Altogethor I had maybe around 10 or 11. Most of them are incredibly foggy/fuzzy and not very clear at all. The issue I'm having is immediate awakening upon realizing that I'm in a dream. I attempt to stabalize by rubbing my hands togethor or touching the ground and I can last anywhere from 10 - 20 seconds in the dream but I end up waking up anyway. This really sucks and kind of kills the motivation for me. Anyone else experienced these kinds of problems or are DILDS generally highly unstable compared to WILDS and MILDS? I never had WILDS (I find them to be incredibly difficult and zonk out long before I can induce anything) and never even attempted MILD in my life. I would like to hear about the advice and expeirence of other oneironauts in dealing with such issues.

You don't need to change your fundamental technique if it's working. The choice of DILD vs WILD is more about timing and comfort. One is not necessarily more stable/reliable/vivid than the other. So let's focus on building on your current success. And it is a success. 10+ lucid experiences in a few weeks is great so take a moment to appreciate your progress!

Okay, so to the issue of waking up. It's good to have a stabilization routine but you need a goal beyond that. You're thinking "I want to be lucid!" and your mind is achieving that but only that. Now that you've experienced lucidity, the next step is to expect more. Do you want to fly to the moon? Do you want to summoning an object or person? Be creative but be specific. You should plan your goal while awake and think about how you will accomplish it. Will you fly like Superman? Or like a bird? Or with a jetpack? When you become lucid, you want to recall your goal first, then think to stabilize. The purpose of stabilizing is in support of your plan. This keeps your mind on the end goal instead of getting lost in the excitement of becoming lucid.

Your goal can be quite open ended, so you shouldn't worry about it being limited. For example, your goal might be to ask a dream character about their history. But to start, it's probably better to try something very specific that you've planned ahead. A good first goal is to focus on a sensory experience. What's it like to breathe dream air? What's it like to punch a dream wall? What's it like to slap a dream character in the face? Those visceral experiences are fun and also a good building block to engaging in the dream environment.
I am sure about illusion. I am not so sure about reality.

Everybody goes trough this. It took 6 months for me since pracising lucid dreaming to learn to stay in it and believe when i say i know how frustrating it is. Start the lucid dream slowly. Dont think what you should do just walk around the envioroment and observe. Dont fear about waking up just look around you when you have been in lucid dream a minute try to fly and so on. Dream stabilization techniques didnt work for me. Getting rid of the idea that dreams end got me to stay in dream and do things without waking up. Act like you dream wouldnt end. I kind ground myself to the dream envioroment by thinking its as solid as waking life.

This happens to me too but I don't even have time to do anything to stabilize it. Literally as soon as I breathe through my nose while I'm pinching it I wake up.
