Lucid problem, lose control every time and wake up

For my first time, i think i might have had a lucid dream. I had listened to self LD inducing binaural beats before falling asleep, and before i went to bed i asked myself "am i dreaming? " and pinched myself. One dream i was having was very obviously a dream but i did not notice, just "played the game" as i have come to call it. The second portion of the dream was more realistic and had to deal with someone giving me a large amount of money. I then asked myself if i was dreaming and pinched myself, i realized it didnt hurt and realized i was lucid. BUT as soon as i realized i was in a dream everything turned red and started vibrating. I felt myself waking up and tried to fight it but I was basically ejected and woke up.

      my questions are:

      Was this a lucid dream?

What did i do wrong, to lose control and wake up?

What can I do to relax myself once i realize it is a dream, and dont feel the urge to open my eyes or "snap out of it"?

      1) Yes it was lucid

      2) You got excited. When you become lucid keep your emotions in check. After doing that, be sure to stabilize the dream.

      3) Before you go to bed picture yourself becoming lucid. Imagine how calm you will feel after you discover you're dreaming.

      I hope this helped

It was a lucid dream. Plan on this happening for the next couple times, and be ok with it. The brain is shocked when this new thing happens, and shuts down the whole process as quick as it can. remind yourself when youu fall asleep that you want to be aware in your dreams. I suggest actually pretending you are talking to your brain, and explain how it should not freak out, because lucid dreaming will be so wonderful.

Keep in mind that the easiest time to be lucid is upon awakening, so some LD are lost before they begin. Later you will learn to salvage those dreams with the DEILD technique.
Peace Be With You. Oh, and sure, The Force too, why not.
