      fitbit vibrating alarm

I just got a fitbit flex. It has a vibrating alarm capability...i did a quick test and seemed pretty interesting. Anyone ever try one to see if it can be used to help induce lucidity?

I can see many dreams involving earth quakes in your future...

All I know is that my vibrating alarm in the morning never did anything for me. Is this special vibrating alarm in some way?

I own a Fitbit One and it always wakes me up which I've successfully used for wbtb (that was my intention when I bought it)
But I have to say I got used to it and got to a point where I wake up just enough to turn the alarm off, and I barely remember having done it.

I want to get a vibrating watch that can be programmed to go off for only 5 seconds every 5 minutes
But I will wear it on my ankle not wrist, try putting your fitbit on your ankle at night see if that still wakes you up
or just makes you stagger or something in your dream

That sounds like a good idea. I personally cannot try that, as the Fitbit alarm is not customizable and it is too long and noisy, which would wake my wife up.
Anyway, I gave up on EILDs and focus on good, old, natural DILDs now

I think it's a great idea. You may have to set strong intention to notice the buzzing to counteract getting accustomed to it. Or set it to go off in different patterns, etc.

edit; ah if it's not configurable then it may not work out …. there are configurable vibrating alarms available on the market, google will find them.
