Had the most strangest lucid loop this morning.

So I've been in to lucid dreaming for a year now. At first it went pretty well and I had approx 1 lucid dream per week. But then I stopped doing daily checks and the little lucid skills I had vanished.

But this morning made a change to that. First of all, I've never accomplished WILD, so I never tried either. It's becasue I've had difficulties with sleeping since I can remember. I always think too much. But I think the experience I had today is essentially WILD in one of its stranger designs. I maybe should say that I had taken 6mg melatonin the night before so maybe that is the explanation of my experience. Now, I'm not sure if it was WILD or not.

It was morning and I decided whether to skip the first lesson of school and sleep some more. Now I am happy I took that decision. It actually took long for me to try to sleep again, it ususally shouldn't in the mornings. Nevertheless out of nowhere, I felt my foot being dragged over my bed. I thought it was pretty weird and even though I tried to resist it still felt like someone dragged it. Then it felt as if I fell out of the bed but in same time not. I tried RCing and success! I could breathe through a pinched nose. It was then, I entered the loop of false awakenings. I was of course lucid, I was from the beginning of the dream and flew off from my room. But I couldn't stabilize that good so I always got "reset" back to my room even though I was still lucid. The rest of the story is me stuck in a loop not knowing what is reality or what is a dream. Of course that sounds scary and schizophrenic, but it was one of the most awesome experiences I've had.

Now the weird thing is that sometimes throughout my dream I could neither open my eyes or move my hand. It made worried for it felt like I was conscious of being unconscious how weird that sounds. And one time I paniced for I saw spiders or ants crawling to my face. I couldn't move at first (sleep paralysis?) but then I jumped off bed and still saw the ants. But then I remembered dreaming.

If this was WILD I hope I can try to achieve it again. The sensation that my foot moved acutally happened alot throgh my dream so maybe I can use that as an RC when I'm in bed? I should probably give all the credit to the melatonin but I really hope I'll be able to do it on my own sometime.

      It was WILD.

As for your foot, remember we have 10 senses while we're dreaming, 5 of our real body and 5 of our dream body. You we're feeling both which is pretty unique for a transition into a dream. If it happens again, you could use it as an RC.

The melatonin indeed helped you find the correct balance of wakefulness.

Sounds freaky but cool. I don't mind when freaky stuff happens in dreams... like just last night I discovered a demon in a dark room and it rushed at me with incredible speed and sliced my leg. I woke up right after this afraid and also felt a sensation on my leg like I had been scratched. those times when you feel both the dream senses and real senses are something else. I do wonder about those times in your dreams when you can't move though... that has to be a form of sleep paralysis. You want to move but you can't because you aren't aware enough to move in your dream. Whenever I am moving around in my dream never have a feeling like I can't move... it's only when I have been kind of floating through my dream and then all of the sudden something happens that requires me to move quickly and I can't... like I have been paralyzed.

Yea the part where I couldn't move or open my eyes was pretty strange. It's like I was conscious of non-REM sleep if that's even possible. Or it was just some random dream stuff. Like the dream was forcing me to not be able to open my eyes, since what dreams are capable of it wouldn't surprise me.

I actually took 3mg of melatonin last night too and got the WILD loops again this morning! It feels wonderful to be able to lucid dream this much and I hope I can achieve WILD without melatonin. The great thing is, if you happen to wake up after a dream it takes only half a minute to be back in the other world.

Finally, someone "stuck" in a lucid dream realizes it's awesome. I can't wait to get "stuck" in a lucid loop. Normally I'm waking up much earlier than I'd hoped.
